Back in the Saddle

There are so many things that compete for our attention in life. Jobs, family, friends, day to day activities... all of the above have gotten in the way of a goal I had to create and maintain the Moore Family Blog. My hope was that writing here would chronicle our history, our challenges and our adventures so that we can look back and reflect on the things that we otherwise may forget. Here's to another renewed effort in blogging! (This makes my second such promise in the history of the blog...oops)

2013 proved to be a great year for Elliott and me. In late 2012 we declared 2013 would be the "Year of Travel" and indeed it was! We started early with a trip to NYC and an amazing Christmas as a couple in the vast expanse of the city. It is amazing how alone and secluded, yet surrounded you can feel in NYC. We can't wait to go back... and it is about time to go back because this was over 1 year ago! Our highlight from the Year of Travel was most definitely our 10 day trip to Italy. A trip that we will never forget and hope to recreate someday. More to come on that in future posts...

I am going to continue to catch up on 2013 as well as figure out a way to write on a "regular" basis about 2014... now to go put a reminder in my phone to write the next post!
